Driven by the fascination of handedness and chemistry phenomenons, this project aims to share the intruige of every
aspect of handedness, from human hands to books, and chemistry.
Using the natural handedness of the book - ‘Verso’ and ‘Recto’ to guide the design of the publication, ‘Hand’ explores the relationship between the human hands and the chemistry phenomenon of Chirality. Also, with handedness in mind throughout production, handmade techniques were used where appropriate, for example, within the hand-stitched binding, and hand-cut silhouettes.
